I think everyone is entitled to their opinions. Hating "the truth about cars" is making them pretty famous.

I dont mind if he didnt like the car, but his review lacks consistency. He says he didnt like dual purpose cars but likes the genesis because its a dual car. He also brought a driver to review the car and didnt even give him much time to talk about it or show him driving it. Nonetheless, his review does not make me regret my purchase, i still love this car and i have no hate towards the miata.

Me either. It's not the smartest financial choice for me to make since it stretches my budget thin, but I'm an accounting major, and am not too bad with money, so I know how to handle it and will definitely be capable of paying it off without help from anyone else. Nothing wrong with that, or with anyone doing it.

The basic rule of thumb that I go with is the milage. If you are going to be driving more than the alloted milaged on your lease, then buy. If you are a close commuter without alot of road trips, I don't see why you can't lease.

I guess my main issue is with the fact that the basis for his argument is based of incorrect figures and unfair comparisons.
1. As many have stated the R-Spec is actually $27,375 which is $2,390 more than the FRS. 2. To compare a new car to a similar priced used car is totally unfair. Using that argument your could can destroy any new sports car with a older used high end car for less money. So him saying the gen is faster and same price is wrong and of course a modded used turbo car would destroy the FRS. He leaves out that the used car would destroy the Gen too. |

I'm glad I can just enjoy my car and not worry and try to make comparisons to everything I can to justify my decisions.
So to the reviewer, it's unfortunate that you can't just enjoy it for what it is. And since you don't, I hope writing off why this and that is better as made you feel better about your choice. Frankly I feel lucky that this car can put a never ending smile on my face

^^^I'm just glad there is another fun, RWD with great sporty suspension, non-turbo car out there (with enough cargo space for a weekend trip) that I can drive on my long daily work commute. ~30 MPG highway and a good clutch + shifter is a must too. |

To the poster who said "feelings" have nothing to do with it, we're not all hardcore autophiles who simply care about the specs and track times, respecting everyone's right to have an opinion and arrive at their own conclusions can be just as important. I like the way you put it encity. |
