How bout just numbers... yeah there isn't anything special EXCEPT the engraving, but hey...that's special enough. Let's not make this any harder than it needs to be.

This would be cool to have our usernames on the lid, but I don't think orders are linked to usernames, just our real names and address. I agree with Orbital, let's not make this hard. I say numbering is fine.

I just don't want anything that slows down the development time!

I think a numbering with the FT86 club logo is a good way to go.

I can live with this. Numbering is cool, something different is always a win.

I also would not want the limited run to delay the shipment too much. I can wait a week or so for something special. Heck, I waited months for an oil cap! LOL

I think we all agree on the numbering. I also vote for either the 86 logo, or a boxer logo. The whole idea is limited edition is something special or "limited" about it.... Having just numbering isn't special or limited. That's why I think the logo or icon would be something special and tasteful.

+1 on minimizing delays. User name and number. Easy peasy, get it done.

1. The yellow Airaid bubble decals are already made and are purchased in bulk, so there is not an option to customize there.

2. The laser engraving only turns anodize into white, so the lids will be black with white lettering.

3. Keep in mind that the 86 logo is trademarked by Scion, and I don't think we would put our necks out there by poaching their logo.

With that said, I think a numbering system or forum logo are both feasible. I will get in touch with the mods and see if we can use the forum logo.

Also, does anyone want a silver lid? We have a chance to hold some back from anodizing if there is a demand. We were also talking about selling them as an optional accessory for those that want them.
Am on the pre-order and I drive a BRZ so anything with an 86 would be a no-no for me. haha.

Definitely happy with whatever Airaid is offering as long as there is no 86.

So it seems the 86 and the username are understandably no-no. So I guess it comes down to the opposed piston design or the FT86Club logo.

Let's settle it. Boxer logo? Anybody opposed? (no pun intended, but I did chuckle while typing that)
