Hi ft86club,

Been watching this site for a long time now. Finally ordered my FR-S 2 weeks ago. Can not wait until it arrives. I have been following this car since they announced a possible rwd platform from Toyota. It had been a roller coaster ride to say the least from concept to reality, but I'm really impressed with the final product. (Test drove a Whiteout AT FR-S) I haven't grinned that much since I first took a Ducati home.

This site has been very informative during the whole process. And continues to be with the aftermarket. I hope to learn a lot about this car. And with the help of this site I aim to know it intimately.

Wish all good luck with their mods.
Tim from Mississauga

I picked up a Firestorm FR-S 6MT in mid-July. I've put about 800 miles on the car so far, even though I normally ride a bicycle to/from work.

My dealer initially received a Firestorm with an automatic in June. I told the salesman that I can wait for one to arrive with manual. I was surprised that they've ordered another one in the same color and how quickly it arrived.

Hello everyone,
My name is Will and just changed my TC release series 7.0 for the FR-S. It was a difficult decision but once I saw and drove the FR-S I knew that I had to change my ride before it was too late. I don't regret my decision at all. I got the Five-Axis 5 piece body kit. I hope to get it installed by next week. Here is a list of the things that I want to add to my FR-S by the end of the year:
1) Tinted windows
2) HID Xenon headlights
3) [ame="http://www.amazon.com/INDY-CATOR-Black-Edition-multi-color/dp/B0042FBK8K"]Digital Shift Knob[/ame]

4) Sony or Pioneer car audio system
5) Beat-Sonic Shark Fin Antenna
6) Cold air intake system

New - First post
Ordered my Premium Silver BRZ 03/05/12
Took delivery 08/03/12
The BRZ joins my tricked out 2002 WRX Wagon as my second Subaru
I'm fighting the very strong urge to upgrade and modify the BRZ
I'm only at 200 miles so I'll chill an enjoy OEM'ness for a bit

Hi all, new here as are so many others. I ordered my MT Firestorm FR-S on May 31st. She finally landed on July 11th. All my previous cars have been Toyota Celicas but had been watching the FR-S peripherally for a couple of years now. I heard they would be released in my area in Spring 2012 so I called the dealership to ask for an expected arrival date. I am glad I did as I didn't know they would be so hard to come by. The dealership put me on a notify list and called me as soon as they were available. I ordered mine right away but it still took too long to get her! This is the first car to catch my eye since the Celicas. Already put close to 1000 miles on it and still love it. I have not seen any others in my area but passed a BR-Z today. First one of those I have seen as well. Beautiful cars, both under the hood and out. What else is there to say?

Hi everyone. New here and love the forum so far! Lots of helpful info. I'm about to place an order on a MT Firestorm FR-S. Haven't seen one in person yet but I've done a lot of research and just know that it's the car for me. Besides i've been obsessing over it since the prototypes, losing sleep, driving in my dreams etc. etc. Anyways glad to join the club!

I just joined a few days ago. I took delivery of my Ultramarine MT three days before my wedding (believe it or not, my wife encouraged me to do it). I've owned a variety of sports cars including a '95 Miata M-Edition, two Mustangs, and a couple sportbikes.

So far, loving my FR-S (which I nicknamed "FRSky" as in "frisky") but I'm glad there are other owners here to commiserate with as the dangers of buying a First Model Year are upon us (I have the cursed air conditioning chirp).

Thanks for the great site - it's brilliant and awesome to see so many avid owners willing to share their knowledge and experience!
