Good luck to you sir, and I hope you do well with German parts/maintenance schedules,
and its because of it that I am still on the BRZ pre-order list ( since march ).

I for one would like to say congrats on your decision. The TT is a fine car, and most people on this site are bias towards the BRZ. I think either would be very nice to own.

Good luck. I wouldn't have bought a BRZ with any kind of markup either. I'm not sure how you arrived at BRZ vs. TT but hope you are happy with your car.

Beautiful car bro. You made the right move. If you were completely sold on the BRZ you would have found one even if it's across the USA.

I was actually on the same boat... deciding between the TT and the BRZ. But pulled the trigger on the BRZ.
My dream car is the R8 and the TT was pretty much the closest thing to it (TT RS). But meh. Im 24, I'll get the TT when Im 45.

A base TT for 40k? That's a bit overpriced for what you get IMO. I got my BRZ Limited for 27k and it outperforms the base TT in everything except luxury. But hey, enjoy it...

I fail to see a single reason to buy base TT. Barely any power, barely any fun. For 40k a Golf R is a much better car on the same platform. RS might make sense, but it's a lot more than 40k.

Nice, first time seeing it with the new 'competition pkg'. Did you end up getting this pkg?

Value is all relative. Most of us that prioritize performance will find something else for 40K. TT is a beautifully designed car inside and out with nice materials and assembly. It's got decent motor and tranny, handles well, AWD. That is well worth 40K for some people.
