No matter what, I am excited to see what they can do because every new piece like this is just further driving the aftermarket. Plus a roots type just looks/sounds sexy.
Ill probably still go turblo though.
This isn't a Roots type though

The state of the art Roots type SCs will avoid said 20% fuel economy drop.

Ok, positive displacement. Is that the right term? Definitely not going to claim to be a supercharger pro but everywhere I go I always see all non centrifugal type labled roots.

It's what people usually call "twin screw compressor". Basically, the 2 lobes are not the same, and they will compress the air as it passes through. A Roots type has 2 identical lobes that simply push air through in pockets without doing anything to it. Traditionally twin screw compressors have had higher efficiency, but they have much higher parasitic loss when unloaded unless there's a clutch that can disconnect it. Eaton's new Roots superchargers however are changing the game and offer high efficiency

The international members should take a note at the dyno. See it ?

2 wheels on the tire not those higher reading dynos that are prevalent in the States which all give b/w 8 -10 % higher RWHP

So what ever it does it will be real figures not some over blown figure.

Wait, so are you claiming that the lower inertia dyno rollers used on that 4wd dyno make it more accurate than single high-inertia roller 2wd dynos?
