am I too big for the car?

I'm interested in getting a brz and i was wondering if i'm to big for the car xD. Odly enough i don't fit the sports car kinda guy, but i do enjoy driving and once a brz or fr-s comes by the dealership i will test drive. But i'm 6'2 270 and from searching around look like most people in the 6 feet range are roughly 180-220.

A quick search for "tall" came up with a couple threads that answer your question, albeit a few pages down.

This one looks to be the best place to answer your question.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...highlight=tall

Some bigger dudes than you have fit into one of the Twins. Eg:

Please be sure to search before posting a new thread. This question has been answered a few times already. Just remember that anything less than 4 letter words will not find anything (and it doesn't tell you that).

I am 6'6" and 280lbs. I fit well in both headroom and legroom. Seat grabs a little and clearance between centre console and steering wheel is tight but definitely fit well

I'm 6'2" 245 lbs and the car fits me like a glove. You definitely gotta try sitting in one and test driving it to see if you're comfortable while driving even if you fit.

Definitely gotta sit in it.... What smaller guys say is tight, may only feel snug to us.

People are surprised when they see the BRZ is my car instead of a SUV...

I have more trouble fitting in Nissan Patrol's and Toyota Landcruisers than this car and my 300zx. In fact, A lot of small and medium cars are easier to fit into than the 4x4 vehicles :S

It just depends on where your height is legs or torso. I've had quite a few of the "big" techs at my store in the car. They are all amzed that they fit and still have room to be comfortable.

6'4" at 230lbs and I fit well. I have to be careful getting in or I drill my knee into the side extension of the center instrument console. The seats are perhaps a tad too narrow for my build, so I have to shift a bit to get myself dialed in, but once there am very comfortable on all but really long drives. Head room is great, and I can sit as upright as I desire since I drop the seat bottom back and down as low as it will go.

I'm 5'10" and 320lbs and I'm fine. Just took a 1500 road trip and I was fine. You just need to get out every few hours to stretch, lol.

The questions are:

Can you stoop that low to get in?

Can you climb out confortably or will you get pinnned in if someone parks next to you?

Better yet... when they park next to you can you slide in and down with only 1 foot clearence?

I met someone at a local meet recently who was 6'7" and he asked if he could sit in it. With the seat all the way back, he was able to! I'm 5'5", so he looked like a giant next to me.
