Assuming 4th is the 1:1 for manual.
Edit: Beat me John

Another vendor on the forum that shall remain unnamed here did a whole slew of runs in 3rd thereby inflating their numbers next to all the competition.
John and Don - just to be clear I'm not accusing you of this. Most cars are nearest to 1:1 in 4th if I'm not mistaken. I would like to see 5th gear numbers but that may be asking a lot if you've been using 4th all along. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

the mod (intake) I was specifically looking at had a larger gain from stock to mod in 3rd (rather than 4th). This was true for multiple companies. Not sure if this applies to other mods, as well, but that is why some people are concerned.

...really??? I have seen you post this several times and I find it strange. what size drum? Our dynoJet 248 reads ~30hp lower in 4th but provides the accepted ~160WHP in 3rd. I am going to assume you are referring to a 224? moral of the story, dynojet makes more than 1 dyno and they do not all produce the results being advertised. the 248 has significantly larger/heavier rollers |
