Post OFT - Car Won't Crank After Flashing any Tunes

I started with an OFT v3 and successfully set it up and flashed the stage 1 tune without issues, however once the flash was complete, when I would turn the car to ignition, a relay would click but the starter would not crank.

Upon flashing back to the stock tune, the car runs no issue.

I flashed to stage 1 again, car didn't start, flashed back to stock, car started.
I then tried the stage 2 tune, same issue, no crank.

I've very carefully followed all instructions. I've tried doing it both with and without having a battery tender hooked up. No, the battery is not low or bad.

I went back and forth with OFT support over the course of a month. They sent me a modified stage 1 tune file to try, same issue occurred. After that didn't work, they completely ghosted me.

One year later, I finally got my hands on an OFT v2, to attempt it again in case it was an issue with the third-party Alientech hardware/software. Everything was going well, however after flashing the stage 1 tune, I had the exact same problem, I flashed back to stock and the car works.

So now I know it wasn't a hardware or software issue on OFT's side, I've been dying to try to tune this car for years and I cannot imagine why this isn't working.

I have a 2017 Toyota 86 M/T The ECU code it reads is ZA1JK10C

I don't have any reason to believe the car was tuned, as it appears to drive completely normally and suffers the stock ECU idle dip issues.

The only other things to add: The car came from a salvage yard after it had a hydro locked engine. I believe the engine was replaced. Also, the key I have is not the original key. They gave me a scion key that was falling apart. I'm not sure if they transferred the transmitter over from the original key just so they could sell the intact one, or if that is some sign they did something with the ECU.

Does anyone have any guidance on where to go from here or might cause this issue?

To me, it sounds like you're flashing an incorrect tune. Kinda like a 2013 tune on a 2017 vehicle (or vice versa). It could be that they put in a old 2013/2014 engine in your 2017 chassis. Would explain the Scion key, but it's a wild guess for me.
