Every 3-4 years, I get into these depressive states. Things pack on your back over time. Work stress, not feeling like you're doing well enough (even though you might be doing fine), and other random shit fills my brain.

Well, this is totally lame to admit this, but the straw that broke the camel's back was my 8 year old Pokemon Go account getting hacked. I played nearly daily since the launch date. All that time, effort, etc down the tubes. That wasn't the 'cause', but the final thing tacked on that made me get there.

Took the BRZ out for a drive today with my partner. ~2 hours there, ~2 hours back, cruising. Did a trail skate for 15 miles out in nature. She does quad skates, I do inlines. Hit up a brewery after.

... and well, I'm not 100%, but I feel a whole hell of a lot better. The drive. Nature. Getting the fuck out of the house and not being buried in my phone. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Glad you enjoyed your long drive.. Nice to hear Brewery came after the skate!! However, I'm sure Brewery before skating would make an interesting read too!!

Finally finished a job i had started 2 weeks ago!! Both windscreen washers working as normal having had to replace washer check valve.. why didn't Subaru/Toyota install the check valve at the first joint in the pipe from the washer bottle?? A 2min job turns into an 1hr thing all because of fiddly clips holding the cover panel below the windscreen..

Good investment , I'm not sure what I would do if my BRZ would crap out on me..

Being retired my new reality is how not to spend on useless things but I don't usually follow that for my few hobby's that brings me joy.

That free wrap over the backside... Up front would be a better use to ward off bugs & small road trash that always seems to find you.

Installed the Euro center armrest and replaced the terrible stock head unit. The calibration on mine had drifted so much it was impossible to hit any buttons on the right side anymore.

Happy New Year! My OEM battery took a poop after 8 years, so I wanted something lightweight. I went with the PC680 Odyssey battery. See pictures and links below. Yes, I know it is dirty around the battery. I am just lazy. Soon, I will use some detail spray and a microfiber towel to clean the area. Might take the battery out to clean the area well. LOL

Bought a 2013 BRZ for as a project car.
First order, to clean out everything, then replace fluids, then all other requires maintenance. Idea is for the car to be ready for 2027 season.
Hopefully, I do not encounter a big issue that would prevent that. Engine is running, no check engine lights, but lets see…
