Surprised there hasn’t been much chatter in here. This years season has been nuts.

Not very chatty this year here,

Been liking the action for the second part of the season, I feel for Sir HAM and what Ferrari chaos does to a great WC...
He really should have taken more Italian courses before he committed.

Max to the limit! Did Piastry get his MoJo back this weekend.

Looking forward to an earlier race in May next year , My latest shopping was for 5 tickets and thats in CDN $ quite the bargain if I look at Lost Vegas prices.
My F1 club is getting bigger, far from my lonely pilgrimage to worship the racing gods back in '78.

So seats at the Senna curve with a view down pit lane and chicane in the distance.

I’ve looked at Vegas tickets the last two years and said NOPE! Crazy expensive.

I particularly like Lando’s race engineer when Lando asked if they should have came in on the SC. “They have lost all flexibility for the remainder of the race.” Shouldn’t that have been “we have….”

Yeah, I heard this season was crazy, but I had nothing to watch it on. I was somewhere in between lazy, focused on going racing instead of watching racing, and boycotting until Cadillac shows up. I'm assuming that's still happening next year? Probably pick up the F1 subscription thingy.

There was a time where I would have paid for a f1tv subscription but of course they want to force all Irish people to sign up for sky sports f1 UK and as someone who hasn't paid for cable tv in over a decade that was never going to happen lol

Luckily I can just watch free streams via kodi on my tv... Thats been fine the past few years and I don't have to give money to a greedy corporation to watch parade laps lol.

This year as a whole was pretty exciting but not due to on track action like idk racing/overtaking lol. SO MANY races this year with zero overtaking its nuts. Too much management and too many 1 stops.

Here's hoping 2026 brings back some racing

Man, the redbull grinding machine consumes yet another soul. Yuki is out as 2026 driver and Hadjar is replacing him. See how it goes, they already went thru Gasly, Albon, Lawsom, Yuki.

Apple will have all of the races next season.

Yuki sucked the second he got in that car,and to be honest, when he was in a RB/VCARB/Alpha Tauri/Racing Bulls, whatever you want to call them,he was only usually good enough to finish just inside of the points. He's had five years to prove himself and hasn't really moved the needle.

And let's face it,the only real reason why he was in F1 was because of RBR's partnership with Honda. He should consider himself lucky that even though he doesn't have a seat for next year,he's RBR's reserve driver.

Next year might not be so bad for Hadjar, with the new regulations. They are so drastically different that pretty much everyone is starting from square one,so he might be better than Max's previous teammates.

F1 racing again!

22 cars will line up for tomorrows race if AM can cast out their Honda demons.
Smaller Wheelbase all around, Lighter cars, new wings(less wash when following close) , 50/50 split on Gas/Electric power.
Now the front wing moves, not sure if I like the look from the front when that occurs as the suspension assembly now starts to look messy.
and my favourite : no more ugly hub caps!

After watching the Practice sessions and Quali there was quite a few cars just loosing power randomly
and a few nasty spin outs due to power delivery or re-gen issues.

This first race is going to be painful in more ways for a lot of teams & drivers,

MERC & Ferrari seem to have tamed their beasts and should be an entertaining show tomorrow.

Now that they let Cadillac in, I should probably watch again. Not expecting much but I like an underdog. Probably just get the "F1 TV access" subscription for replays though, I'm never going to watch live anyway.

Cadi has a great chance on making points.

It has 2 competent & proven drivers to help with winning points and guiding in development .
Has Ferrari Power which seems to be getting the mother team a competitive chance this year,
The only grey question will be with how the rest of their team works with the pit stops, their race decisions and ongoing development as the season goes on.

I don't see them as an underdog, that title goes to AM & Honda even if Mr Stroll is trowing his big bucks into the team they have failed miserably to be ready for the opening race ...
They only got one car kind of running for the weekend...

Sometime just the replays are adequate when we are forced to watch a parade... The cars are smaller this year should provide for more passing.

I do love the Cadillac driver lineup. Always liked Bottas.
