I'm sure this will be polarizing, but I honestly love this.

Obviously not at all practical, but I do love me some flippy headlight action.

I can dig it but the pop-up headlights are no longer legal due to safety issues and really do not fit this design.

Pop up headlights can be retroactively added to any vehicle. At least in the US. No law against it.

I love this look.

I came back in here to see if anybody had posted this yet. I usually hate body kits on these cars, but that looks fantastic.

I think it looks bad. The mid-80s boxy style front does not fit with the rest of the early-00s creased-jellybean style the rest of the car has. Not to mention the horrendous side skirts and flares.

Lol. I don't think I've ever heard the 1st gen to be considered a jellybean shape.

I was referring to the general style - overall the body is rounded with few sharp angles, except the "creases". However you want to call it, it doesn't fit with styling from the 80s.

Sure as shit not for the over-30K USD price. Buy a car, buy a kit, and you're up for 70K, and there are a LOT better cars for that price; looks performance, fun factor, etc.

I read they had plans to release parts without the widebody kit. Curious how that would look.

That's what I want to see. It's $5500 right now in this form. I bet a stock body version of the front end will be even better.
