New guy with a new car.

https://postimages.org...hot-2025-11...2-44-33-PM.jpg[/url'[/IMG]
Just picked this up for a LSX swap. Now that I have beaten on it for a week. I kind of love it. A big change from the Vettes and Corvettes i usually drive. I own shops and am a LSX tuner. Normally I heavily modify and look for strong under the curve dyno charts.

I am torn. I am thinking about a supercharger for the flat spot and this will be a perfect ride. I am looking at the hks gt2 kit. Been readying mixed reviews on it.

So you wanna add another 50 to 75 hp and leave it as is? If I had the extra money that is what I would do by adding a supercharger.
I am running E-85 with a tune, header, and intake. I am pretty happy.

Do your research on the superchargers. You do not want a centrifugal unit if you're planning on fixing the powerband in the middle.
I would absolutely recommend the sprintex 210, it's cheapER, great feeling and nice sound.

I want a build where every part is the same brand. I have been a fan boy of HKS since my old CRX with a few HKS parts in college. From what I saw online a gt3 kit will fit a 2022 with a air intake MAF is the only significant change?? I am thinking HKS Intake to exhaust. Suspension to floor mats. Yes I saw HKS floor matts. https://subimods.com/products/hks-tu...4aAr82EALw_wcB

The million $ ? Is what do you want it for?

Fun sporty daily driver? The twin screw isn’t bad option. But looking at your previous builds I’d guess you’ll want more hp.

I just want a fun car for daily commuting without being obnoxious. I am sick of my es350 it's a nice car but boring. I use it for work and I am an older guy. So sleeper build. I wanted the new lotus emira but that's way to flexy for my job and also leaving it on NYC and Boston streets. That would just end up being like my 5th garage queen. Absolutely going to get trashed or stolen.
I am thinking full exhaust supercharger streetable clutch and maybe a cam.

Absolutely do not bother with a cam.
If you upgrade the clutch, I'd go with an OEM+ option like the Exedy stage 1. It will hold up to any bolt on supercharger for this platform, and drives nearly identical to stock. If you go this path eventually, do a build log!! It's a great platform for a playful daily driver. The aftermarket supports any level of comfort or power, and the parts bin availability is deep (both from wrecked cars and new parts)

I might as well keep it going as a build thread.

This weekend exhaust

I might aim for a quick dyno before if I have time with holidays and all.

Next week after thanksgiving it is HKS supercharger install time. ( kit on order) Placed order today.
Ordered this https://hksusa.com/product/12001-AT013
a ECU TEK tuner and a delicious tune.

Need to buy list

1=Airbox that works with HKS charger??

2=Rear end solution to make it more solid ( solid busings ect) Less rear end hop ect.

3=Big Brake kit. Street monster maybe a scca autocross day or two not a track build.

4=Headers " hks maximizer "

5=oil cooler. Not sure of I even need yet.

6=Clutch

7=Exhaust came in legal max was just a tiny bit to tame. Going to try this greddy. Sleeper goals!! I am waiting for an open lift. I couldn't squeeze under it. I assumed the ramps were enough. She LOW!! Stopping by a marine hardware store for stainless bolts (New England Rust). Gaskets were undersized for the pipe diameter. I will stop by the speed shop or open them up a little. I wonder if they have a remflex. These look cheapo.

Well this escalated fast Charger just got in today

This box was heavy. I want to weight it and shed some weight off the front.

Build day one Tear down

No wonder why these cars have online install guides. A lot of the descriptions need translation. I can't stand watching you tube and everything is a electronic ratchet. This car was a breeze to work on.

Greddy pulley set on order. This kit has zero bling to it. Need something to add to it.
