Well yeah. Went to stiff on the coilovers, relatively loud (but not horrible) catback.

I ordered the car in April of '22. Received in Sept of '22, basically all current mods were done Dec '22

But of course, this was back when WFH full-time and had what I thought was a pretty secure job. Then laid off in Aug, but paid til Sept, surgery in Sept, start new contract gig in Sept.

So now just driving when it's nice out, or I feel like going for a drive. It's a boring ass, drive to turnpike, spend 13 minutes on the turnpike, exit onto absolutely HORRIBLE service road and drive that for a mile and pull into work.

We went to a concert a few weeks ago, so to make things easier my lady dropped me off, so she could just pick me up, we hit the turnpike to Tulsa. She was like jesus this road is terrible, I can't imagine how bad it sucks in your car. She drives a '23 CX-5.

Are your dampeners adjustable? I have Tein Flex A coilovers. They are tolerable for DD if I back off the dampening to 0.

Confession: Some part of me hopes my work funding runs out in two weeks and I can do some other things without feeling guilty about taking time off. But then I feel guilty for hoping that because of the context in which that would occur and it's consequences.

We finally got rid of all our Halloween candy! But the neighbors kids kept doing a reverse trick or treat where they brought us more candy lol.

Unfortunately we stopped doing the whole thing a few years ago. We just don't get the turnout. We don't have street lights or sidewalks in our neighborhood, and the homes are pretty spread out. The last year we did it we got two kids.

That's unfortunate. I live in a development and Halloween is basically a block party for all ages on my street.

It used to be that way in our neighborhood as well. We had something else going on last night so didn't plan to participate. When we got home about 7:30pm there were no kids on our streets. It was rather odd as our neighborhood used to be one that folks not in subdivisions would come to.

I just heard the deli counter folks at the grocery store talking about the same thing as you in their neighborhood, just not a lot of activity. Apparently there's less and less people doing Halloween every year.

You wouldn't actually have a nickel. You'd have 3 pennies after taxes (rounded down of course). But they don't make those anymore, so maybe you'd actually have an IOU for 3/100ths of a dollar stored in a database somewhere? But then you have to pay for the space on the database somehow so maybe you'd only get 2/100ths.

Just my $0.02...

The neighborhood I grew up in back in the 60s and 70s was like that. The sidewalks were busier than an airport. Things change.,..
