No idea who these people are. The little Sony is little, tilt screen used at lap level, Mr Discretion at play.

I don't know. The wife paid for mine, pictured below, and I couldn't ask the two subjects above without turning from Mr Discretion to
Mr HeyJustIgnoreMeImTakingPicturesOfRandomPeople.

My wife and I bought a Fujifilm X-e5 with 2 lenses, 23mm f2.8 and a 35mm f1.4. Visiting family in Calgary, so lots of opportunities to test the equipment..

Got myself a new toy earlier this summer to test out the mirror less thing marketing has been pushing on me as the greatest thing, besides DSLR's are dead right?.
A Nikon Z6 III with a 24-70S F4.0 kit lens & FTZ II adapter thrown in. Its already making keepers. I also just had to get the new Tamron F 2.8 70-180mm G2 a few weeks ago, what a nice small package on the Z even to my old 70-200 f 4.0 + FTZ. Almost got impaled by this guy I really should have asked him permission... ![]() She was more interested in selling her onions. ![]() My first time with a FF digital, love the low light quality, fast frames & manual focusing aides for my numerous vintage lenses. I feel its putting my learning skills to the test just trying to make the tech fold to my 50 photo yrs of habits. Less about the forever long (to me) wake up time for the viewfinder and clumsy SD card door implementation. I also got a headache the first few hours I was trying it out on some birding but got used to it (may have been just a diopter adjust or the panning stutter) Gave it a workout at the Jazz fest, car shows, 1700's market, my nieces wedding and A rally over the weekend. Makes for a great everyday camera. Still much prefer my close to 10 yr old D500 with the Big telephotos and always ready response for instant fast action... and almost eternal battery life vs Z6. (Gave up on the Zzz the second day of the Rally last weekend) |
