When the walls were there, there was the third little room at the end of the single garage that had old kitchen cabinets against the walls. I took all that out with the walls. The track is in that corner. Now there will be plenty of room for drivers.

Do you remember the Subaru Forrester commercial with the Border Collie that had a broken leg?

So the wife really liked that commercial and I won a stuffed Border Collie from Budd’s Subaru. The wife wrapped the front leg like in the ad and Buddy lived in the back seat of 2016 STi. She would dress him up for Easter, Christmas even just when going in for a service.
When the commercial with the puppies came out she got a stuffed one for Christmas from Bay Subaru. She named him Little Bay. I do not have a photo of the two of them together.

My Dodge needs a new rear end, and I don't want to put anymore money into a 20 yo truck. We've been going to dealers and wow, the truck I want is so expensive. I'll be financing, so I'll have a car payment for the first time in 20 years. Do they still use payment books, or do I have to download an "app"?

Most will issue coupon books, but only if you ask. It's more common to do direct withdrawal or online payments. I suppose some may use apps.

Then again, I'm no expert, as I don't buy cars I can't pay cash for. That's been my rule since the 80's.

It depends on how and with who you finance I guess. You can finance with your bank which I would assume would set you up with a car loan account and withdraw money automatically. You could use the same app, if you already have an app for your phone, to see the status.

If you finance via Credit Union, which is the route I took on my latest car (Crosstrek) I had to go online at the union website and setup automatic payments. Just had to provide my banking info.

For the BRZ, I used USAA to finance and it was the same thing, similarly, I had an app for the insurance and on the same screen I would see the loan info, so just had to provide the checking account to withdraw funds from.

No payment book. An app.

I could have paid cash, but I got such a great interest rate, much less than my investments and savings. I had an 850 credit score at the dealer today.

I bought a GMC Sierra 3500HD, 6.6 turbo deisel, 10 speed auto BEAST! Most expensive non real estate purchase I've ever made.
