Where and how to sell a "Needs Work" FR-S

Hi all! I just don't use my FR-S like I used to – life changes, need more trunk space (got a Crosstrek I love), etc. I created a For Sale post in the regional marketplace: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...ostcount=11764 but I'm not sure that's going to get any traction.

I don't really want to put it on AutoTrader.com or Cars.com as it needs some work and I'd like someone who knows the platform, but I also don't want to salvage or donate it (I mean if I get something from it that would be fine, but not like $100). It runs fine, it just needs some love.

Thanks for any feedback!

Oh, and I plan to return maybe in a few years after things settle down. There's no way this is forever! I've heard there are so many improvements and no other car looks even remotely interesting.

Craigslist and FB marketplace are probably your best bets here in NorCal. OfferUp is another option.

I feel like you should really have zero issues selling that car for $5,000 in the bay. Based on your listing, a good running car with <70K miles for 5k is an easy sell.

Ah yes Craigslist, thanks. My wife was joking about FB but they do sell pretty much anything! I could probably ask for more, it was just that work is involved that may take a few thousand $ to get it in nice condition and didn't want it to take forever.

Thanks and I'll see how it goes!

Half the Facebook ads I see on marketplace are cars that need attention. Yours looks minor compared to what I see lol
