Sorry for your reason for the visit. Just missed our BIG Canada Day celebrations, eh? Too bad. Enjoy what little time you have here and try to take in some of the sites.

I saw this on tv while watching the Boise 4th of July parade. A Fiero trike.

My bet is it's a bucket of candy. They hand it out to the kids.

Me and my truck were in the Caldwell 4th parade one year. I basically drove while my wife and the other Blue Star Moms walked and handed out candy. I think we gave out 5 Home Depot buckets of candy.

Parades are big here.

I'm trying to workout how big is a Home Depot bucket? Was the truck man enough for 5 buckets..

Home Depot bucket sounded better than 5 gallon, plus I knew JD wouldn't have a clue what that was. I'm easily entertained.

I could have said Lowe's bucket, which the one on the trike looks like, just wasn't thinking.

Could have also said lard bucket, which is what I knew them as before Home Depot and Lowes starting selling them. Plus those are made of metal.

So lard buckets are made of metal? Never had 5 gallons of lard. HD and Lowe's buckets are plastic.

I prefer Tractor Supply buckets because they are food grade. You can brine turkeys.
