Doing some clean-up around the house including recycling several old computers (some as much as 20 years old and had Windows XP license stickers on them) some old network gear. several dead iPads and Fire tablets and two boxes of extraneous cables (it not a hoarding, you never know when you'll need a composite video cable or 30).

Since two of the computers were Dell I went to see if they had a recycle program. Turns out Dell has a partnership with Goodwill where they recycle any old computer related equipment for free! You just drop it off at a Goodwill store and they take care of it. I took the precaution to wipe everything first of course, but it sure felt good to get rid of that stuff in the correct way and at no cost.

Our Best Buy store does the same thing for any electric or Electronic item. Just drop it off at the front door. I've seen electric typewriters and old style hair dryers, (you now the big box with a hose to a plastic bonnet) old console TV with big CRT's along with all the usual stuff.

I've used Best Buy before as well, but at least in the US they have a limit of the number of items per day, which I was exceeding. Goodwill takes whatever you bring (within reason).

In my neck of the woods, Staples office supply also accepts electronics.

Playing soccer is one of many hobbies I have. I enjoy watching, but I prefer to play… even my old knees are creaking lol

Anyways, recently one of the cleat brand released limited edition cleats. Sadly I couldn’t pre-order on time. So I had to purchase in second hand (fraction more than actual cost). On the weekend, it came, so I try em on. I thought I knew my size, or they change the shape of the cleats, it’s a bit big. About 1/2 size bigger than I like. It’s a leather cleats, so it will stretch, so I need tighter to get the leather fit perfect to my feet. I cannot send it back, cuz it’s second hand (eBay) & seller don’t take back. Now I’m debating to buy another one.

Do I have the money (+$300)? Yes. Is it necessary? No.

Should I buy or nah.

Yeah anytime as long as you don’t mind my partially finished house with no AC at the moment.

The way work is going I am likely to end up in SLC again this year.

You know me, I’m not too picky. As long as I eat & there a spot to chill & chat, I’m good.

& yeah, you were saying that AC died in you. It’s it dead dead? Or able to fix it?

Nice! LMK When you’re coming over, as long as it’s not late Oct, I’ll most like be free.

I’m honestly not sure yet. It looks like from the manual it detected a refrigerant leak but I checked everywhere and don’t see any signs of leaking. Of course the weather just hit so all the HVAC guys are busy.

It really depends on what happens with work. SLC was also a production facility that supplied like 4 other branches as well as having a ton of routes. Well for some reason they had to shut down production recently and they are getting supplied from NV and it has been a shit show. It will probably be in the next month or two if I have to go. This whole merger thing(some would say a hostile takeover) has been a mess the last 6 months nationally. Luckily we have been largely unaffected.
