Yea, we did that. Their name was Deloitte. Their report said we were way over staffed and inefficient. Nothing changed.

Oh yea, before I worked at the county hospital I was an internal auditor for the gubment. I audited gov agencies.

Got a Roku streaming deal at $1.99 for a month of Cruncyroll.
Half way through MF Ghost at present. They've spent more time on the poorly drawn umbrella girls and opponent back story than on the races and cars.
Didn't even finish drawing the first race. I am disappoint.

Tried watching Initial D again, but they aren't even streaming it.

Hah! Texas sushi! A likely story.

Yea, seeing people with guns on there side at the grocery store etc. Is a common site here too, but mostly Glocks and stuff. It just cracked us up that the guy was dressed full cowboy with a six shooter and a quick draw holster.

Oh, yes, every time I see some old guy in a store armed with a sidearm, I'm afraid that some kid is going to take it away from him and start shooting people -

I remember the first time I saw a gun in an open holster. My dad had taken the family on one of his adventures; I do not recall which one. I was about 4 years old and we were having breakfast in some little town in the states. In walks the very over weight town Sherriff. He sits down on a stool at the counter and I see his gun literately hanging out of his holster. There was nothing holding in place and with his leg bent the holster was parallel to the floor.
In Canada only the police could carry weapons and side arms were kept completely hidden in covered holsters. I thought I should go up and tell him his gun was about to fall out but my mom stopped me. My father did go up to him and mention it but was told it had not fallen out in 30 years.
We finished our breakfast, mom hustled us kids out to the car as dad paid the check. When he got in the car he broke out laughing. He explained that as he was paying the girl told him that nobody ever says anything to the Sheriff even though his gun had fallen out several times before. Then as my dad walked out the door he heard a noise and a lot of commotion. He did not stop or look around but all he could think of was that the gun had fallen out and hit the floor.

The place we went was super good. They have stuff flown in almost daily. Even better than the gas stations in Idaho.

You really don't want to open carry. It makes You a target. Concealed carry is the way to go. You do it right, no one will ever know you have a gun.

I've travelled extensively in the USA and a lot in the southern states and have never seen someone open carry. A client of mine in Kansas said the smart ones conceal lol

So true!

Reminds me of back in the 60's in Germany, when I got stuck with being Battalion pay officer. Yep, we paid in cash in those days.

My driver arrived in my jeep at the HQ. I came out and ask "what the hell is this all about?" and who is the NCO. He replied that the NCO was required as a gunner and that the mounted M-60 machine gun was his idea.

I reminded him that we were going about 50 kilometers to go pick up payroll, that we were NOT going to war! He reminded me that if we got robbed and lost the cash payroll that we could be held responsible, unless we were armed.

I told the NCO to take down the MG and told my driver that you two armed with M-14s and me with a 45 ACP, if we got held up and outgunned, that I would call in Close Air Support. He felt better knowing that I could do that, because I was also the BN S-3 Air.

Cpt humfrz - out.
