I got my car in 2015 with about 19k miles on it. It now has 111k miles. I had the rear right quarter panel completely bashed in from some @sshole and it took the body shop five months to fix it. I have to say, they did a great job fixing it.Looks like nothing ever happened to it.

Just finally had my clutch(all components)replaced in February. The TOB was shot to shit, and I also had the water pump, rear main seal, and serpentine belt replaced, all for the first time.

People can say what they want about these cars, but my FR-S has lasted and cost me less money than any car I've ever owned, all while being fun to drive. I'll drive this car until either it can't drive,or I can't drive it anymore.

My 2013 FRS got 156k miles, the engine shot a rod at 50k. Toyota rebuilt the engine under an extended warranty instead of a new engine, it’s been running great ever since. I recently bought a new 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman 4.0, it’s a dream to drive but I still daily drive my FRS. My paint protection on the nose is shot, I got hail dents in my flimsy hood. I had to replace the clutch due to the TOB going bad, there was a TSB on this but Toyota wouldn’t warranty the clutch saying it was wear and tear, BS. Now I got to fix the reverse backup light switch which I can’t reach. I just recently replaced the original Pioneer head unit with an IDOING head unit, best mod I ever did, simple play and plug. I plan to keep the FRS forever, I am 68.

Most likely a Scion rod.. It was a Toyota or a Subaru rod,it'd be a different story..

BTW my BRZeeeee is 11yrs old and 17.5k miles.. oh, the windscreen washer check valve packed up.. turned out to be dodgy Scion part.. what can I say...

I got mine in August of 2012. Still going strong @ 77,000 miles. It was a daily driver for 6 years but like me is now retired and just out having fun.

I purchased my FR-S 10 years ago today. Hard not to remember the date.

It has about 60k on it and 35ish track days. What a great car!

Purchased my 2013 Hot Lava FR-S in November, 2012, and now have 50K miles on it. Pretty much all highway miles, very little city driving. It's been one of the most dependable and fun cars I've ever owned.

Yea love the Hot Lava, did you have the valve spring issue with yours being a '13?

No, I've been lucky to have had no issues, so far.
