Got a work trip coming next week. Going to Washington DC. Haven’t been there for a while! Last time I went was last 86EXPO… how time fly. This is how hum’s feel? lol

Back in the day, I used to have to go to DC about every other month for over a year. I recall one night my co-worker and I were leaving the hotel when the door man asked us where we were going.

I said that we were just going to take a walk. He told us that we could go "left" but not "right". I ask how come? He replied because it was too dangerous to go to the right.

Being young and bullet proof, I responded with "what if we go to the right, what you gonna do? He said he would blow his whistle twice and the cop parked in the front would come up and "have a talk with us".

This ol farm boy and his buddy backed down and decided we didn't need to take a walk after all -
