I'm getting ready for my 15 day trip to Austin Texas next month. I'll be house and dog sitting for my oldest while him and his wife are in Spain for her brothers wedding. I'll be alone with the dogs for 8 days, then my youngest is flying out. We will all be together for the memorial day weekend after they get back from Spain. Should be fun hanging out with two of my boys.

If so, I'll suffer thru it, take one for the team!

I'm looking forward to going out to dinner. Austin does have some great resuraunts. Idaho, not so much. At least on this end of the valley. Totally want some good Chinese and Mexican food. My son said he and his wife are on a first name basis with the owners of a great sushi place. They want to take me when they get back.

My son bought my airfare, and they are stocking the house with food and stuff, so other than eating out...free vacation!

Ah good good. Make sure to hit up the BBQ places and Barton Springs! Also good luck with the traffic out there!

I'll be driving my son's fancy Chevy Silverado SS. It has a giant supercharged v8 and is crazy fast, and it has a backup camera.

Lol that's because that part of Texas is infected with Californians. So more than likely, that's who is driving like a bat out of hell. But then again, each city in Texas has it's insanity.

I call bs. If it were conservative Californians like us, it is a blessed city. But I don't think that's it. I think it's home grown crazy Texans, and there is nothing wrong with that, they are nice, but they drive like crazy, every part of Texas I've driven.

In California it is the 500 million people who moved there in my lifetime from all 50 states, and every country in the world. Hard to find a native Californian in San Jose now. All Indian, illegal mexican, Korean, Vietnamese, and chinese.
