Funny, I knew this gal who worked in a hospital in Pennsylvania Amish country. They had buggy parking. They live in the 1800s, but when it comes to healthcare, they want the most modern stuff, and pay cash.

You should try the Amish country. They have some great varieties, and are also available from amazon. Way better that Orvilles if you ask me.

Plain kernels. The kernels are red, but it pops white like normal popcorn. We use an oil popper, coconut oil, and salt. Good stuff.

What type of salt? We only use Himalayian and Kala Namak salt, try them if you haven't already.

Good old Morton's. We use it for French fries and popcorn, otherwise I use kosher. So how is a pink rock different?

It contains more trace elements than ordinary salt and I think tastes stronger ie you use less. And the pink rocks look great in a salt grinder..
