I think they are just into making money. They even make microwave bags. We have tried all their different popcorns, and we like the Red the best.

Funny, I knew this gal who worked in a hospital in Pennsylvania Amish country. They had buggy parking. They live in the 1800s, but when it comes to healthcare, they want the most modern stuff, and pay cash.

We used to buy popcorn in a 25lb bag at Sams Club, but they stopped selling it that way.

Now that the boys are out of the house, we just buy the "big jug" of Orvilles through Amazon.

You should try the Amish country. They have some great varieties, and are also available from amazon. Way better that Orvilles if you ask me.

Is it flavoured or just popped ready for your own seasoning?

I suppose the spend on buggy modding doesn't even make a dent in their spending so why not spend on the high tech medication..

Plain kernels. The kernels are red, but it pops white like normal popcorn. We use an oil popper, coconut oil, and salt. Good stuff.

What type of salt? We only use Himalayian and Kala Namak salt, try them if you haven't already.

Good old Morton's. We use it for French fries and popcorn, otherwise I use kosher. So how is a pink rock different?

It contains more trace elements than ordinary salt and I think tastes stronger ie you use less. And the pink rocks look great in a salt grinder..

One sexy lunch is a homemade burger, from beef from the black Angus herd down the street, with a Clamato PBR. Yum!
