Exedy Clutch Stg2 or Action Clutch Stg2 for Toyota FT 86 SC Rotrex C30

Hi guys! I am loocking for to replace my OEM clutch due to increasing power on my FT 86 MT 2014 cause by a SC Kraftwerk C 30-94 with small pulley already installed

After read several times diferent topics and clutchs reviews (Exedy, SB, Clutch Masters, ACT, etc) finally I have two options

1. Exedy Stage 2 (OEM FW). 3x pad cerametallic clutch disc

http://www.ebay.com/itm/204446650429

I read this review of the Exedy S2 problem and I ask me if after several years this probles finaly was solved
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75445

2. Action Clutch Stage 2 (OEM FW). 1x pad kevlar clutch disc

http://actionclutch.com/products/sta...u-gse-fa20-rwd

I am loocking a strong clutch to support the new power (315 HP and 250 lb-ft at crank) but avoiding vibration (ligth flyweel or on-off coupling), extrange noises, etc. I am planning not use the car on trackday for now but maybe some times in the near future. It is not my daily drive car

I didn´t see a lot of reference of the Exedy Stg 2 neither Action Clutch Stg2 asociate with BRZ, FRS or FT86,

Do you have any references of these clutches to recommend?

I was just in your dilemma with my JDL v2.1 Turbo install.

I read through a lot of stuff and I ended up going with the South Bend Stage 2. Here is the link from Summit Racing (I used my SCCA 10% off coupon): https://www.summitracing.com/parts/SBB-FJK1005-HD-O

I heard too many things about the other brands at the price point I wanted. I know things like the OS Giken from CSG are reputable but my friends locally had nothing but good to say about the South Bend clutch. I have it broken in and the car completed the dyno tune without a hitch and I would agree. It works great.

Exedy stage 1 clutch, no question. I loved mine. Was turbo with about 330whp and a ton of mid range torque you won't have to manage with the centrifugal SC.
Look up the reviews for them, super cheap, holds like glue, fits OEM

Yes. I had a local shop resurface mine. It was like $80 for them to do it and they turned it around in just a few hours.

Far more. It's likely the same disc South bend are using on their stage 2. Exedy makes southbend's clutch discs.
I've owned the stage 3 daily and now have the stage 3 drag

Thanks for that bit of info. Things are adding up because the throwout bearing and the pilot bearing in my South Bend kit were Exedy parts.
