Hahaha Yup. I had a accident learning how to surf and well left knee has pain when I press the clutch about 30 min in it hurts bad. But I'm used to it, its bad for motor sports. I find it hard to downshift correctly so I need to get a manual car n rehabilitate. But honestly...sequential auto is faster and,less pain lol. But still... well see any one else curious about the auto ? I hope its not some crappy auto with paddles like.370z level auto is nice genesis is not.:/

I actually was not familiar nor am i with Schroth so i apologize... But none the less takata is jap and jap is this car... Plus i love green... It was Sabelt until i seen the drift king in takatas years back... I was sold there and then... The way i drive my balls are usually tucked anyways LOL......

Just seen Schroth website... I would still go Takata but each to there own and i cant be argue that schroth aint quality........

So good to see how passionate we are about this car.... Toyota/Subi should be proud of there efforts in my opinion and i hope it brings a sparkle to Mr. Toyotas eyes that there is such a large following for a car still in concept stage........ F*#kn hurry up though!!!!! My FT-86 will certainly not be my daily driver but I will be driving it every day.. U certainly wont be hearing me say 'Rain rain go away, come again another day'..... With 10.5-11s on the back ill be looking forward to every rainy day i get... Itll save me thousands.......... LOL

Dang thats rough. I hope you'll get better with some consistent Leg work from shifting! I stopped surfing due to.. a jellyfish incident. Lol

That would really suck though.. if the FT-86 came with... paddle shifters. Lol

Its confirmed six speed at with paddles

If its an engineered down but not too down version of the I sf or L ra automated manual boxes then it might have a chance at beating a manual in races.(depends on drivers) Not to mention launch control.

Even tsuchiya with his pro shift was beaten by naoyuki and they both drove gti.:/ I would only get auto because I have to, I don't want the doc to be like if u keep up this habit youwont be able to walk again deal LOL.

why dont you smack ur doctor in the face..

Ask him how to not ONLY heal BUT to strengthen it.

I have bad knees too from a car crash..

anyways;

I live in NYC, is there a way i can learn how to race.. because there aren't any tracks here in the city.

In the future, I will be upstate NY( binghamton) for college and hopefully have my ft-86 up there too.

anyways...

and im only 19...
