I would spend all my time practicing autorotation, managing tail rotor failure, & all kinds of shit. That guy straight-up panicked.

We don't see what caused him to smack the boom into the ground. However, we can clearly see the tail rotor parts flying across the screen. He should have killed the engine immediately to stop the rotation. Instead it was still driving the rotor blades even after coming to rest against the plane.

I remember when Danny across the street got a mini bike. His older sister wanted to try it. She hit the gas, kept it on full throttle across the yard, across the street, and smack into the steel streetlight pole in our front yard. It wasn't pretty.
