I just searched youtube for silent blacksmith. Overwhelmed with returns. I may dive into this on my own.

This dude from Ukraine. He’s got some cool homemade equipment too.

No CEL’s, no leaks. I did prime the oil system before I started it. Will run a few warmup cycles and dump this initial fill. Blower sounds a bit loud. Not sure if that’s normal.

Edit: spoke too soon. Found split coolant line on the back of the driver head.

Sounds a bit like my first c30 when it started to fail.

I was wondering. It has about 50K miles on it. I heard they are supposed to last way longer than that. It did quiet down quite a bit after I added more oil. I had to start it and stop it a few times to fill this system.

Mine had about 10k miles when it failed. It just got louder and louder. Luckily it was still under warranty. So far so good with the second one.

I almost tagged you in the first post when I was concerned with the noise. It took a liter of traction fluid. I’ll monitor it.

If I remember correctly, my c30 takes a tiny bit less than the full liter. Reminds me, I got a new bottle and filter from Jackson a couple months ago and need to change mine.

I don't know if it's the climate here in Idaho or what, but is seems my brake fluid goes dark in less than a year regardless of mileage.

Could be the altitude?

Could be your eyesight is failing?

Could be that it has been two years - time goes by faster when you get older?

1) I don't know about altitude, that's why I'm asking. We are at about 2400ft. SJ was about 85ft

2) Very funny.

3) And no. It got black very quickly. I don't remember this happening in SJ.

Yeah I overfilled it. Puked a bunch everywhere while running.
