One month and 48 hours into Elden Ring...

Alright, I never played any of the Dark Souls franchise that I found out this game is based on but I can say... It's fun. No, dying constantly isn't fun due to my real life dexterity problems. No, farming/grinding runes to gain levels isn't exciting. BUT, being open world and being able to travel to most places without too much trouble and being able to pick most of your battle engagements makes the game that much more enjoyable. As someone who sucks at this type of game, I really like it.

I cannot lie. No, that's not right, I am just lying when I say I cannot lie because I can. Obviously.

What I am trying to say is I am looking forward to STALKER 2. Released about 21st of this month. I am going to buy the most expensive edition which is not something I've done before. Not that I particularly want the extra goods, just that I think GSC is deserving of my money. I guess it's a bit of charity.

I've not looked forward to a game in such a long time; I hope it delivers on some of my expectations.

Ok, off to a great start. There was no issue binding the keys I wanted.

I had this same experience with Cyberpunk; the forums were full of people complaining about performance issues which I didn't have.
I have just started past all the intro cut scenes and I am averaging about 70fps without up scaling.

Looks good.

That's weird; even though I am getting 60-70fps I seem to be getting slight jittery movement when panning.
