My neighbors all know what a slob I am. My garage is open for the world to see. One of these days the google street view crew will catch it.

I've considered writing some kind of prank message on my roof for the satellite.

There were a couple of famous roof signs not far from where we live. If you google the area and then go back through the years you can see it there. However, so many people took photos over the years that if you do a search you'll get dozens of hits.
Here's an article written when the one house was being sold. https://www.thepeterboroughexaminer....ebf784f41.html Plus a couple of photos.

Rock City still paints those barns by the way, so it's technically not old memories.

Got my solo sign off at calabogie motorsports park last Sunday. Very happy to finally knock that off so I can go a bit more often. Ordered a set of Circuit CSF1 17x9 +35 to run as track beaters. Flow formed 57DR clone.
Also been chasing high fuel trims, I think I may have found it, via the breather that connects to the intake inlet tube. Pulled TB and AC compressor off and added an additional clamp on few hoses.

Washed it. I couldn't let it sit for another winter without a wash. Hopefully I have a few nice days before freeze to wash again. Still dirty.

Am I getting old? I have Tein Flex A's on my FRS and always kept the dampener adjustment at the stiff end. Over the past few months, I noticed all of the little shakes and rattles were becoming more annoying. Maybe I was unconsciously comparing the the FRS to my wife's new Forester which is very smooth and quite.
Well duh: I reset the dampeners to 10 clicks from the softest setting and 90% of the shakes and rattles disappeared. I guess I am getting old because: A, I like the smoother quieter ride and B, it took me so long to figure out the solution. |
