Does the BRZ Premium exist?

The markup was gone in 90 seconds and we confirmed the order. Received it in Sept '22.

I bought my '22 in January when markups were crazy in some markets, but I too paid MSRP and the dealership advertised they wouldn't do mark-ups as a matter of corporate policy. Granted they wouldn't budge off of MSRP, but at least it wasn't marked up.

By now, mark-ups should be pretty easy to avoid, but don't know if there are many discounts to be found.

Blind Spot: Before the Mazda 3 became my fiance's car, driving to work early morning in the rain, person didn't have their lights on. I went to change lanes and almost got in a wreck because they were driving at least 20 over the speed limit.


But for me, stuff like wheels/suspension doesn't matter because I knew I would be changing them anyway. Life is too short to drive a stock car.

I've gotten into my BRZ in -22F wearing jeans and don't really feel like I needed the heated seats. They are a must on leather, but I feel like on cloth seats they are not that ciritcal

To me, "heated seats" seem like a feature that sounds great but in practice offers little/no value.

Because a person's body is pressed against a seat, and car seats are made of materials that insulate pretty well (well, cloth more than leather), car seats seem to quickly reach a temperature that's pretty ideal just by way of being sat on.

So it's not like the seats are cold (after a minute or two), and it's not like you're really losing a lot of heat out your back or butt when you're sitting in a car seat, so what's the value of adding extra heat at that point?

Seems like it would really just make you feel hot and sweaty, which is the effect that heated seats have on me.

Similar story. I got invoice through Subaru VIP program. I live near Seattle so people are not really interested in these cars, that's probably why dealer agreed without much hesitation, I went there planning to walk away anyway. Placed order in April. Went to pick up my car in September and they "accidentally" gave me papers with MSRP but immediately corrected the mistake when I told them.

Just order the exact trim, spec and color you want. I ordered a 22 BRZ premium. Had to wait a few months, but was worth it to get exactly what I wanted.
