Impressive! I've never been able to cut glass. I fail at even the simplest straight line.

I keep trying. One of these days, I'll figure out what I'm doing wrong.

yea, the problem with glass is you don't so much cut it as you (to paraphrase Woody from Toy Story) break it with style.

Circles are particularly problematic. Best method I've seen involves scoring the outside circle, coming in a bit and scoring a second circle, the doing a few square scores on the inside one to remove the middle then nibble away the new circle. It takes longer to say it than do it.

The glass shelves that come with this are only 11" by 12.5" and maybe 1/8" thick. The holes were a 4.5" diameter and a 3" diameter. I think it just stressed the glass too much.

The polycarbonate was so much easier. I cut the shelves with a cordless circular saw and then drilled the holes on a drill press (actually a ShopSmith).

I haven't figured out the technique with the preload-and-tap. It never follows my line. So frustrating. I have no style.

I'm only successful about 50% of the time. I watched a lot of videos of folks doing it to create holes. You could tell sometimes they weren't successful the first round either.

New Lego build. This was a joint birthday gift from my 3 sons.

Enterprise D. Hard to tell from the photo but this thing is huge. The disc is almost 18" across and it's 31 inches long, the build contains over 3,100 pieces and the assembled ship weighs almost 10 lbs. It takes up about half our breakfast area table.

The disc separates from the engine nacelles although I'll likely never do that.

Now I have to build a place to keep it. I've decided to take one of those "knock together" steel shelving units you can get on TEMU or $20 and convert it into a glass display case. I'm 3D printing a pegged channel to hold the glass and hid the holes. All in with the glass I would be around $250, which is cheaper than anything I could find online, and none of them is wide enough.
