First time ordering parts from Japan and Australia. I was very happy with the experience from japanparts.com Could easily see myself ordering more JDM goodness.

The MCA order took awhile which was shocking to me as so many people said they got their order within the same week haha. Anyway I got everything and hope to install it soon

How do these effect autocross rules?
Local club is going more SCCA official and looks like my car slots into STX for my mods. MCA is only thing I'm unsure of.

Not overly concerned since I'm not competing full season, more just to scratch an itch.

Mca is Illegal for stx. Not 100% sure if changing the bushing type is legal but the trailing arm might also be Illegal lol

Garage
Trailing arm is an SM part.
Traction Mod is probably an XSA/XSB part.

Went ahead and registered XA after reviewing rules for that class.
Thanks for the tip.

Super frustrating to me that the traction mod isn't legal for SM even though effectively the same geometry change is legal by spending a LOT of time and money modifying the knuckle or building a new one

Speaking of knuckle.... Would it be worthwhile to upgrade where the trailing arm connects to the knuckle ? I see a few pillow ball options for it. Not sure if it can be installed while on the car though...

MCA traction mod and STi trailing arms installed. Made a noticeable difference in the way the car goes over bumps. Had a quick drive on one of my favorite back roads and was shocked at how much more planted the car was. It felt as if the rear suspension was working correctly instead of just sorta skipping and bouncing around.

I measured right height before and after no change

please do, and keep us posted. If your shipping to Canada is reasonable, I'll buy a set. Aussie shipping, despite our dollar being stronger than theirs, is just stupid.

While you are at it, ask if they'd make a set without the MCA logo. Simpler and less flashy is nicer for me.

I agree, you get the product cheap. Then I think they use American owned shipping companies for international freight so you get screwed because your dollar is poor. Wait until someone else gets their hand in the pot.

Hard to say without doing back to back testing. My gut tells me no but I am happy I got rid of the old crusty ones and it can't be worse than stock lol.
