Went to Barber last weekend. Changed engine oil and transmission fluid afterwards, 734 miles on the new transmission.
The car is slightly vibrating at idle due to the engine mounts, if this persists, raising the idle to 900 rpm should take care of it. The engine/exhaust sounds amazing at WOT, quite guttural and raw, I can finally hear rpms building up from inside the car. |

you should try using a GL-4 only oil in the trans vs a GL-4/GL-5 hybrid. I switched out my gear 300 for amsoil MTL and felt the shifts were smoother. Mostly a piece of mind thing in the end... Kinda sucked as I had JUST put in the gear300 lol

Changed transmission fluid after 3.5 hpde weekends, kept on pouring Redline in a used Motul bottle as the Motul container works with the fluid transfer pump.

Pulled the front bumper to fix one pre-bulbed plusnut that started spinning, tightened the nut and added JBWeld around all 10 nuts to hopefully prevent any future slipping.
Used this opportunity to install the Outbound Motorsports GR86 cup car intake kit. Now I can commence work on a custom splitter. |

A lot of similar mods! I just added Cusco mounts and the Outbound intake snorkel. The mounts added a fair bit of NVH. I really like the snorkel. I can actually hear some induction now

Used a free piece of alumalite that fell off someone's Lotus to fab a splitter. Did not have enough material to do a one piece so cut one half of splitter and mirrored it to get the other half. Glued a piece of aluminum on the bottom to connect the two halves and Gorilla taped the edges. The splitter survived one day of HPDE so far.

Swapped an OS Giken from Shaftworks into a spare 4.1 diff I purchased a while ago. Now waiting for ARP studs to arrive before I begin the break in process.

How many times did you have to remove/install that wheel to make the stud look like that? Lol.
Did it get cross-threaded at some point? |
