Drove mine up to a takeout restaurant tonight.
Backing out, I "touched" rear bumpers with another car which was also backing up. No damage, nobody stopped. Does that count as a "crash"?

Well, drove the FR-S back home after the Detroit Autorama. Since there was nowhere on the street to swap wheels, I had to drive back to my house to swap back to the winter setup...on the track tires that are barely showing cords. We ended up placing second in the "Autocross" class, coming behind a show car that will never touch any kind of pavement, but it is ok since I was not there for a trophy.

I just passed the 4K mark on the new car I bought in January, 2024. At this pace I may lap you within 18 months!

Drove mine yesterday, home from the airport when we had roughly 15" of snow.
Drive was mostly uneventful until getting to our neighborhood streets. Couldn't make it onto our cul-de-sac, so car got parked around the corner in the only lower spot of snow I could find. Most importantly... did not crash!

Nope, made it home safely (still have not crashed in the past two weeks). Leaving from my friends house right before the show a racoon jumped out in front of me though and I hit it. Good thing carbon fiber is strong because he hit the splitter and just bounced off! Car was completely fine

Went for a sunny day cruise up to Mt. Vernon. Stopped off at Goodwinds Composits to buy two dozen 48" by 0.050 carbon fiber rods as kite making supplies.
Didn't crash. Whew!

To fix a cylinder misfire problem, replaced passenger side port injectors and found that the actual problem was loose ignition coil that Toyota service was responsible for when they replaced the spark plugs. Also changed oil, and installed new battery. My 2014 FR-S is still running fine with JRSC
Oh! and I drove to work and I still love it. |
