But im not a big fan of how the Lexus grilles and the Toyota grilles are getting ever closer to seemingly converge with each other. It dilutes the Lexus brand to be more or less just "Toyota+" models like how Acura/Honda and Infiniti/Nissan are. Up until the most recent generation of Lexus cars, I feel like they have been getting further and further separation from each other...but now with the more recent stuff they're just reverting back to looking and possibly feeling like nicer Toyotas. |

I think the opposite. I would like to see more brand continuity, especially inside of Toyota. Their cars typically all look so different, which can be good or bad. Premium and luxury brands tend to care a similar front. It’s subjective.
I would say the way they did the grill with the triangle shape and nose similar to the Prius is all great design language, and the grill looks much more up market. I bet this will sell well.

Yeah, no.
The spindle should be summarily folded and mutilated.

I prefer the overall shape of the yellow one, but the headlights of the blue one....

They look damn near identical, save for the headlight design.
The different colours and angle makes it look more different than it actually is. |

Perhaps, given they are renditions it's hard to tell. The variations I see could just be prospective changes I suppose.

Yeah, I know it is still a concept but at least it is now more than just a rendering.

Maybe Toyota will have an OC "old cadgers" edition with a real steering wheel, and some buttons in it.
