Yeah I think this is not taking weight completely off the pinch welds, but at least it's getting distributed better, and will stop splitting my rubber jack stand pads. I suppose I'm lucky to find these after my first year in AX lol.

I went through three different ones before I found one I really liked!

One of the ebay units, the simple flip up variant.

Like @Sapphireho I have the flip up one (3rd party) still in the box from 2 Christmases ago. My plan had been to add slides to it so I could slide it back and forth rather than flip up, but haven't gotten around to doing it. Now, since I'm debating trade/no trade of the FRS towards a different DD, I may just hold off and sell it.

This is the one I've finally stuck with. It's still not perfect, but the others were too low to actually act as an armrest.
This one is a little taller than ideal as it is taller than the door armrest, but it's close enough. I also like that it slides forward & backwards so that I can slide it out of the way if needed. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Kind of a bulk update since I haven't been on in a few years but...
HKS Turbo kit (with supporting goodies) and an Advan style livery.

tob replaced
My tob started making noise at around 121000km, and I bit the bullet and did the job myself. First time I dropped the transmission, and oh boy it was heavy to handle it underneath the car. It took the entire weekend, but I did it myself. Did not crash during the morning commute this morning.

Ran over a plastic bag on the freeway and spent a good amount of time cursing under the car. Tried avoiding it but the cars to my left and right had impeccable timing.

Could be worse... I've run over a deer carcass before and parts of it attached to the muffler. Cooking deer meat isn't as pleasant smelling as you would think.
