I had real leather in my old 318i but to be honest I found the seats in my 86 a lot more comfortable

Bolsters on my Hakone seats are leather...at least the parts that are contacted while seated.

I sure liked those! I saw one in person a few years years ago. Great colors. Great wheels. Nice interior touches. I think the Hakone remains my favorite flavor so far. I just had a Katzkins reupholstery done to the base model, maybe like eight years ago or something.
