Good stuff. I've mangled my fair share of brake lines. I had flare nut wrenches that sucked but finally broke down and invested in a bullet proof set. Surprisingly, I use the open end more than I thought.

Well fitting tools are truly underrated. Those extra mils of slop are murderous.

Just to follow up on my earlier post, the OEM brake lines I ordered fit, seem to have the right proportions, and are fully functional. My car has a May 2013 build date. Subaru PNs are:

26540CA002
26540CA012

26591CA000
26591CA010
