I'm disappointed that ISRO cut out the best part of the Pragyan rover deployment in its time lapse series. Can clearly see how it rolled right through that little crater. We all know they were shitting bricks in the command center. Why try to hide it? Lame.

They need to be reminded that any publicity is good publicity. Imagine how relieved they were when they made it across.

Nice example of how you can make anything up if you are willing to ignore facts. Yes, the Thermosphere has high measured temperatures, but what matters is heat transfer not temp. With minimal presence of molecules in the zone, heat does not transfer and is easily "worked around".

As far as the ISS well, you can see it with the naked eye, and in good detail with a simple telescope, so that's one complicated psyop.

Just to add to this.

The part I don't get is how someone can invest so much time and effort into making up their own reality when the tools to test their theory are right in front of them. Anyone can build a directional receiver, anyone can identify gps signals and the determine the strength of the signal, anyone can point that receiver at a cellphone tower to show those signals are not being sent, and anyone could roughly track a gps satellite as it passes overhead using this method. All it takes is time and effort. It doesn't even need to be gps, you could pick up s band radio or satellite television/internet signals.

I've seen the ISS passing overhead with my own eyes. Really cool to watch if you catch it at the right time. No way in hell that's an airplane.

Of course it operates off of cell towers...and satellites. Get a powerful telescope and look for yourself. The ISS can be seen.

The video is a joke. Either the authors are intentionally trying to misinform their audience for views, or they just failed to do five minutes of research before spending hours making their video. As Dadhawk said, temperature (the average kinetic energy of the molecules) is very different from heat. Our bodies feel heat, not temperature. Something only feels cold or hot because of the relative movement of energy transferring towards or away from our body. You could put an ice cold limb into "cold" water, and it could feel hot. While the temperature (average kinetic energy of each molecule) is high in the upper layers of the atmosphere, there just isn't enough of them to transfer any heat. This is similar to a candle flame, which is 1000 degrees Celsius, yet you can pass your finger through the flame without much effect. Touch a piece of metal for a fraction of a second at 1000 degrees or even something much less like the glowing red burner of your stovetop (500 C), and you will burn yourself. Why does the glowing metal feel hotter if they are both the same temperature? Because we feel heat transfer, and with far more molecules capable of transferring energy, we recognize that as being hotter, when it is not.

The second guy was really annoying. He probably did a Google Image search of satellites from space and is getting renders because duh, satellites don't do selfies, nor are GPS satellites there to take images of Earth, but even if they did, this is like a flea with a micro camera trying to take a picture of a human from an inch off of the skin; it would just see the broad side of something.

Third guy reads a scientific explanation, but can't believe it. He reads a scientific explanation of the temperature in the upper atmosphere and believes that, but not the explanation in regards to heat. This is the definition of cognitive dissonance, or he unfortunately lacks the education and faculties to understand basic science. To answer his question, heat from the sun is not from thermal conduction. It is from thermal radiation. This is how you can feel heat from a camp fire glowing on your face despite not being above it to feel heat from convention or touching it to feel heat from conduction. Radiation is why you will feel hotter in the sun than in the shade. If it was just hot air then it would disperse under shade, but rays of light move straight, so you need to be in the path of the rays from the sun to feel radiant heat transfer. The vacuum of space doesn't allow conduction or convective heat transfers from the sun.

Third guy: "how are you pushing against nothing in space with rockets?" This guy is a class act in sleeping in school or not graduating past the 5th grade. It boggles my mind how people have graduated high school without a basic understanding of science. Maybe he was homeschooled. I don't know. Rockets don't need oxygen from the air like your car engine or plane engine. Rockets use a fuel source along with liquid oxygen to create combustion used to make a propellant. The combustion of fuels direct in a give direction causes thrust. Wall-E learned this when he open a fire extinguisher in space. You can do the same sitting on a rolling chair on a slick surface or while standing in ice-skates. Momentum is conserved, so a heavy mass with little velocity will go in the opposite direction as a small mass with a lot of velocity, MV=MV. This is why throwing a ball while stationary on ice skates will push you backwards. Thus, exploding rocket fuel in space and creating pressure, so it goes in one direction pushes the rocket in the opposite direction.

Third guy: "solar panels on satellites, but not on cars?" The panels can be larger in space and the energy usage is far lower. The solar panels only have to power a computer. They aren't used for rocket fuel, if that is what confused him. They power the electronics, so this is like comparing the battery needs of a cellphone to a car. Also, in space, the efficiency or energy captured from the sun is higher, since it is unobstructed by atmosphere, which is why solar panels generate more energy near the equator than at higher latitudes.

Fourth guy: computers use to be the size of five story buildings and now are exponentially more powerful and the size of your cellphone, so imagining a satellite that is the size of a bus and now is smaller, is that really a stretch of the imagination? The ISS is already traveling at 17k mph, so launching a satellite from the ISS is like dropping a ball from a car going highway speeds; the ball will also be going highway speeds.

The rest was just as painful like I don't understand the confusion between renderings and reality. Like, if I was an air traffic controller, and my screen showed me the position of a plane related to other planes as an animation on my screen, I wouldn't say that airplanes are fake. I wouldn't be confused that airplanes depicted as an inch in size over a large area wasn't in proportion. If two pixels of planes touched, and I was told that the planes were miles apart, I wouldn't be confused, but this is the level of thinking going on in this video. Yes, the "real time position" position of satellites in orbit aren't depicting the actual satellites in proportion because nothing is photographing these satellites, looking above them or something. The photos are drastically out of proportion, so it is not like 7700 satellites would be blocking out the sky. If the satellites were equally spread out on the surface, there would average about thee satellites per state. They could be the size of a bus, and it would make no difference. Imagine trying to see three buses on the ground from the height of an airplane, so there is no way three satellites or one satellite is going to be a lot at hundreds of miles up. I don't get why this is difficult for these individuals. Like Forest Gump would get this.

Post one contains a picture of a man made satellite claiming it's totally not a satellite.

Post two wonders why there are no pictures of satellites.

Poster is too lazy to just get a telescope and look for themselves.

Poster has clearly never used satellite television or internet.

Poster clearly has never seen gps work in desolate places where there's no cell signal.

Poster apparently doesn't know how airplanes work, at all.
