Put skinny wheels back on so I can drive it around without wearing out the fast tires. This pains me immensely.

Your doors appreciate this! Nothing is worse than 200tw and under that fill out the fender well when you drive through sand or pavement patching on a hot day...

It's actually not much better than the wider tires because of the camber. The contact patch when going straight is about the same amount of poke because the outer edge of the wider wheels doesn't really touch the ground.

I really only hear stuff hitting the side of the car at low speeds, I think at higher speed most of the gravel comes off at a shallow angle.

How much camber are you running?

Cool. I just did 3.7 front and 2.5 rear. I also completely boogered my toe

I'll continue with my string alignment tomorrow. I don't like the camber bolts. I think it would be far easier with FLCA.

Adjustable camber plates are nice. Also, slots in coilovers are nice lol.

New rear brakes and rotors. Rotors were original to the vehicle so it was probably about time! (just shy of 230K miles)

Hey Papahawk, 230k miles !

I like what you’re doing here for this community, the long term ownership picture.
Giving me hope I could still own this car till they pull my licence and I can no longer walk or find my way home.

What would be your trigger to get rid of it after having it so long with the use you already got out of it?

I keep my cars till they either get stolen or the rust finally gets them in the long run.

Good to see the Disks can endure.

Im running up the mileage too fast and at 100Km or only 62k miles going nowhere and only use it for 6 months of the year.

Just got the Tranny & diff fluids & plugs changed & I can’t tell of any changes in feel since I picked her up in a snow storm 4 years ago.
She’s a keeper since I finally got here named Scarlett.
Since I like the inertia in the curves and long trips im still on original pads till next spring...
So I should good for about another fun 300KM! If I can go by your experience on this platform!
