Fusion powered Death Star man, be careful. If you don't look it can't see you.

Or anything. The list of products you buy that use forms of child or slave labor is vast, including ICEVs. Enjoying the cobalt in your laptop or cellphone?
The hot topic is cobalt mining in the Congo--not lithium, so maybe you got confused. Cobalt is NOT needed for car batteries, but Tesla, for instance, uses only 3% of cobalt in its batteries that have cobalt. Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries are cobalt free and make up more than half of the batteries it sold recently. Moreover, CATL, a supplier for Tesla, and the leading EV battery producer at over 30% market share said its new LFP batteries going into production at the end of this year to early next year will have a range of over 435 miles and be able to add 250 miles of range in 10 minutes. Can't speak for all manufactures, but Tesla buys the bulk of its lithium (95%) from lithium mines directly and not on the open market. It is also building a lithium refining factory in the US. We have all the lithium we need in the US, so mining lithium isn't a long term issue more than any other products. Unfortunately, we can't police the entire world and people aren't going to stop buying bananas, shoes, smart phones or clothes because of child labor or slavery in the production of these products, especially when knowing exactly what you could and couldn't buy would be virtually impossible for the average consumer. Here is a list of known goods provided by the department of labor and a few headlines and quotes about child labor in the car industry (all cars): https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/fil...oodsExcel.xlsx Vauxhall and BMW among car firms linked to child labour over glittery mica paint SPECIAL REPORT-Child workers found throughout Hyundai-Kia supply chain in Alabama Quote:

By the way, how do you have an invisible gap? By definition doesn't a gap have to be visible?

I suppose an invisible gap is microscopic. You know it's there, but it's not visible. Technically it would need to be smaller than the wavelength of visible light?
