After they used DEWs and lasered the daylights out of the residents of Lahaina, Maui, this is what the sign language interpreter is flashing... I took ASL in High School and I don't remember learning these signs...

Every once in a while, I come to this thread to get a good laugh.

I always get a kick out of little ants, who are on this earth for more than a micro second of the earth life, and think they have all the answers.

Earth is gonna be Earth. Humans won't change it much for any significant time in earth time.

Just my guess, like every comment here.

No but we can definitely make it unsuitable for humans in human time and therein lies the problem.

I understand your sentiment. I phrase it like this: The world doesn't care. Or sometimes even more grandiose: The universe doesn't care.

But we (people in general) are a funny bunch even if we're not funny.

Ever seen a "wildfire" burn houses to nothing more than white ash? Ever seen a "wildfire" melt a car's engine block, wheels, and glass? Do you know the melting point of glass?
If the disaster in Maui was due to a wildfire, how come the Elites' mansions are untouched, but the normal houses are burned to the point, that even their toilets have been evaporated into ash?
