I'd check mine but didn't realize the Jackson racing combo cooler/radiator makes it impossible to open the air box without removing its bolt or the air hose clamp and I temporarily lost my socket wrench. Maybe if I meet a friend this week with one I can use then I'll check

Pretty sure you can't have a V8 RWD R8. Only the 2nd gen cars were available as RWD, and those are V10 / DCT only.

Doubt it. The reformed spot has a crease like something physically pushed it, not a bend.

I think you're right. No wonder v8, mt6, AWD is the closest I can find. Looks like RWD didn't come out till 2018. I actually was looking for a unicorn.

It was when @Ultramaroon graciously tossed me his keys (lol literally who just gives their keys to someone they just met? <3) so I could feel the difference in his clutch pedal adjustments/helper spring removal.

I didn't actually test drive his car though, I walked past your car and hit the unlock button on the key and somehow your car unlocked. So naturally I took that opportunity to crunch the shit out of your cabin air filter. I can't believe it took you this long to find it!
