I think the first gen V8 manual coupe is the pick of the bunch but this is fantasy land where the car is in pristine condition having traveled less than 20,000kms.
It's an Audi, any significant maintenance is going to be more than I am willing to spend.

Some time ago I forgot to backup my music playlists when moving to a new laptop, and have been using it as an excuse to listen to random music from my entire library that has been built up over the past 25 years. After several weeks of thinking "wait, is this the Audioslave song with the obnoxious guitar solo?" I have come to accept that all of the Audioslave songs are the one with the obnoxious guitar solo.

Yep, it's a unicorn. Anytime I find one that checks most all the boxes it's "call for pricing" . Make sure you are sitting down.

Ok, anyone have a clue why my cabin air filter came out of the filter box like this? The right side is the pushed in side.

Also, a couple inches of this strip of foam was hanging down a little from the top of the box. I slightly pulled on it and the strip you see fell down. Looked like it also came from the right side of the filter box.

And the glove box damper was just hanging on the door. I'm sure the door will feel different when I put it back together.

Looks like the work of a "professional," right down to forgetting to reattach the damper.


Is the black foam strip for sealing the access panel?

No. Came out from inside the box. Ends are rough, like it was torn.

It had to have come from somewhere inside the unit. I haven't yet had mine apart. Service manual isn't helpful.

I think it's a consequence of not carefully lining up the filter as it's inserted. The backside doesn't seat and the filter collapses when the panel is closed. I noticed how easily the filter can be jammed when I first cleaned mine.
