I'm playing Painkiller at present to fill in time before I find something else to play. It's showing its age but still fun in an early Doom sort of way. I remember thinking it was awesome when released in 2004. I'm getting an indicated 900-1800 fps at 1440p without ray tracing.

i'm at about 1% completion. the map is huge. also learning that it seems a lot of locations are mission-locked, which is more than a little irritating

Set this PB 1:55 back in July and still can't best it. In fact I'm almost 2 seconds down consistently.

I've completed the main mission, now doing clean-up.

I did start playing Lost Worlds DLC, but immediately hated it, so probably won't complete that.

Didn't really notice any mission locked places. The map is huge. I discovered by accident that one of the flying vehicles is also classified as a land vehicle so it lifts the "game fog" off the map when you fly over it (Angelito FW Turbo) when other flying vehicles don't.

Starfield comes out in a bit over 3 weeks.
While I am looking forward to the release of the game I don't know if it is going to be a game I enjoy. I hope I do because it looks like a huge, varied game with hundreds of hour's game
play but doubt remains.

My play times:
Skyrim: 513 hours
Fallout 4: 42 hours
Fallout 3: 10 minutes

We'll see soon enough.

lol, we're doing opposite. i'm doing all the side missions and avoiding the main mission for the time being.

likely where my problem is, just don't like it, as all previous farcry's have allowed a more organic play style

By cleaning up I meant picking up chests, doing races etc. I pretty much do side missions as I get them, and like you end up doing the main campaign after I've already leveled up a bit.

Between my PC and Nintendo Switch....and even further back with my Wii-U and Wii....i've got way too many games in my back-catalogue that i really need to play or finish (a large chunk of them are played through and stopped at a certain point and a bunch i havent even started yet lol).....

I just picked up the Quake collection recently because Quakecon sale and it was awesome back in the day. I never really played 1 all that much but 2 and 3 were great. Wanted to play 4 because...story, and dont really need to other spinoff type games but whatever lol.

I just ordered Rockband 2 and 3 for my Wii lol. Nothing better than trying to play G.H or RB while being pretty wasted during a home party.

I introduced my 2 year old to AC/DC not too long ago and every now and then he wants to bang on my guitar hero drums and guitar hero instruments to some of the songs lol.

Im just waiting for him to grow up enough to not be just completely toddler random at it and then we can get some rockband/guitar hero going in the household lol.
