Well, they say a septic system's life expectancy is 30 years. Mine is 35. I have it pumped every 2 years. I just don't want the expense of tearing up my yard, irritation system, etc. Not taking any chances.

I hear the "in demand" softening systems are ok.

I was going to ask the same question but then after @Ultramaroon post, I decided against it. So, I went out to the garage to find my FRS manual and forgot why I went out to the garage -

That would usually be an RO system. Great for drinking water.

At my last home in San Jose I had home softner, and RO under sink. Got it all cheap since my brother owned a water store at the time. Had a large water tank for the RO under the house, so never ran out. Fed the ice maker too.

I was thinking more of a regular (non RO) 2 stage conventional water filter system. Economical and easy to install. Great for coffee and drinking water.

Obviously, the sensor on your car slipped off its bracket and is dangling next to the exhaust manifold -

They need to be moving to read more accurately. Disconnect it and throw it and try again. I think it is passenger side in front of the condenser mounted above the little plastic skid plate.

You had better hope that your district isn't part of the new gen. "Don't go digging up no poop. Make 'em pay fur one of 'em new new fangled above ground jobbies!" That's what I had to do to the tune of $38K!
