Set the TC to 3, that's the only way I'm able to get close to the gold. When you get to the end of the straight, brake after the brake indicator flashes a few times, then get back on the gas earlier than you think, nice and close to the wall. Then cut the next 2 corners as close as you can. Brake early, almost right when the brake indicator starts flashing for the remaining corners. Last corner before the straight try not to hit the wall.

My issue was major understeer with it. Always had that with any Viper from any Gran Turismo.

IMO the understeer isn't that bad. The braking is what kills me lol.

I have mixed feelings about using driver assists to do better in the online TTs, lol. No judgement, just....hmm.

I get what you’re saying, the racing line is a good pointer and ABS helps a lot. But high speed just happens to be a track I adapted very well to. Other than that I mostly post bronze times. I came to realize that this track is all about barely using the brakes and using as much of the track as possible.

Aside from ABS, I just keep the flashing brake reminder on. Although I tend to ignore it since it is usually too early. Lol

I usually don't use TC but I don't really sweat it too much. That Viper handled like my lifted and locked 4Runner in the ice, doesn't turn until it starts oversteering. Enough IRL race cars run far more advanced ABS and TC then street cars have so I don't think it really hurts realism though GT3 cars and GT4 endurance cars are putting drivers through far more during an event then a 60min race in GT7. I don't believe the 911 RSR had ABS for a while, SuperGT don't run ABS or TC but also run far more downforce then GT3 cars.

I tried using no ABS when the GT7 first came out, and way too hard on the controller. But then again, I had that adaptive triggers on, and felt that it was holding the triggers down when I have already released them.
