Yeah, I have smelled it before unfortunately. I've had a friend have their car stolen and there were a couple broken pipes in it and it reeked of meth when he got it back.

Could be worse, lots of cops OD'ing by opening cars that have fentanyl in them. We used to open the door and push cars out of the way that were abandoned in our parking lot. We stopped that practice a few years ago.

8-10 years ago my friends had their shed broken into. Someone smoked meth in it, shit their pants, and then left. They left the pants. Had the same smell. They don't live in that neighborhood anymore.
