Maybe I'll get the Sauber, but I was definitely slower using it at LM compared to the 787B and R92CP.

It's slower than the 787B & R92CP, however it's considerably easier to drive than those. At least IMO. Seems to have better high speed corner grip, and launches better out of slower turns. But it's top end suffers in comparison. You may also recall that from the BoP adjustments for that LeMans Race the Sauber's power was considerably lower than the aforementioned cars.

The GR. 1 Menu book is driving me crazy. I hate Daytona, would rather race SF at Fuji.

That Spa race is insane. Even more insane the control of the top drivers. Cant break past 2:45

I just hate how you're basically forced to use a VGT car to even attempt to win those races.

Pretty sure he is talking about the TT at Spa in the X2010 Jr. I'm went in the 2:45's and gave up since I wasn't having fun with it. Weather is only fun to me in a race not a TT.

Oooh, yeah, that thing. Tried it and only did 4 or 5 laps before getting too frustrated.

Its the TT one, my bad. I don't know how you managed 2:43 lol. If I try to mimic the 3rd fastest time ghost, It doesn't end well. Somehow Im slower with TCS on, even at 1.

Side convo, there's a guy I used to work with, who still keeps in touch, that when we were working together he always tried to one-up me. Or anyone. It was kind of annoying. Anyways, we connected mostly because of games and what not. He mentioned Gran Turismo and he would say how fast he is, setting records, blah blah.
We have never played against each other, mostly because I don't want to deal with him, but recently he messaged me and said that he noticed my times in the T.T. He said " I got this rig set up, Gran Turismo Wheel, I need competition". So, I told him, "Beat my times on the T.T". He hasnt. Didn't post a time on the Spa race, and Im 3 seconds faster on the Karting event in Tsukuba. The best bit was last week, where there was a "Dude, I almost had you", when he tried claim victory about being half a second behind my posted time. Its the small things.

I managed 2:43 after about 10 laps, with TC off and manual. Tried a lot of the permutations, TC1/2, auto/manual and that was the only one that could get me into the 2:43. Did enough to get me into silver, no way I could find 3 more seconds for gold, that's just insane

Qualified pole position for the daily race B. Flubbed it at the top of the mountain and fell back to last. Made it back to 8th, and then I was rear ended into the guy in front of me, and some how I got a 3 second penalty from that. Like WTF!? No one else got a damn penalty. So 3 second penalty plus my car was f*cked front and rear. JFC...
