Redesigned the breather/AOS/scavenge systems again. Got a good deal on a Verus AOS. Upgraded the hoses to silicone.(was a touch short one left to upgrade).

![]() Went to the second event of my time attack league this year and ended in #P3 in my class again. I need to step up my tire game or get more seat time before the next one

I had replaced both of the bulbs on the old OEM sidemarkers because one of them had died, but finally decided to just upgrade them to some after-market ones and I must say they look very nice. I also replaced the tire caps because why not.
The side markers are extremely bright and really stand out. Also the orange ones were lowkey bothering me haha! Its the little things in life. |

Changed my MT fluid from Motul 300 to Ford Motorcraft XTM5QS thanks to suggestions from this forum and glowing reviews from the Miata and S2000 forums. Shifting feels amazing now and the car is a joy to drive again. XTM5QS really is unicorn blood as people say it is.
Motul felt like ass from day 1 - every gear was hard to get into. The notorious 2nd gear crunch/clank was constant, and 5&6 took a lot of effort to get into. And I ran this fluid for less than 20,000km. Motorcraft feels slick and effortless and reduced the frequency of the 2nd gear crunch. I picked this up from my local Ford dealer for $20CAD/qt. This is a good cheap alternative to the discontinued Pentosin MTF2. |

be sure to put some anti-seize on those tire caps! they're all aluminum, and the valve stems are all bronze/steel. dissimilar metals create galvanic corrosion, which murphies law dictates, they will seize, but only once one of the tires deflates enough that you can't fill it easily anymore. i learned the hard way years ago, and had to cut all 4 of mine off with a dremel without damaging the valve stem.. it was a long saturday...

Repainted the wing, since it was getting scratched and chalky, then gave it a wash.

What did I do to my BRZ today? Well, I made the last payment on my 2018 BRZ tS. Yep! Five years old (just turned 22K) and paid for now. At the rock bottom interest rate, (cost to borrow was less than $500) I was better off keeping my money in the bank. How often does that happen?
As I’ve mentioned many times before, in March of 2017 I purchased an Inazuma, (Series Yellow) but was unable to take delivery. My employer at that time terminated me without cause and without notice the day before I would have driven it home. After a 1 1/2 year battle I won my law suit. As luck would have it I found then bought the tS in celebration! The wife tells me I got the better car but I still lust after that Yellow car in my dreams. |

Technically last night but hard wired my radar detector so I don't have that trashy coil cable running.
Don't worry, I know usefulness is somewhat subjective to location. I just like the idea of an early warning and K band is common in my area.

Trying to figure out lengths and turning some recessed areas for the clamps for my tray. 19 mm stainless steel. Not missing anymore sessions.
